Design and Construction of 11kV/440V and 33kV/440V Substations for Industrial, Commercial, or Institutional Projects
A substation involves the systematic arrangement of essential equipment required for its efficient operation, including transformers, Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) panels, two-pole or four-pole structures, High Tension (HT) cables, and heat-shrink termination kits. This setup primarily features a step-down transformer to reduce voltage levels.
All equipment is mounted on sturdy foundations constructed from concrete (comprising cement, sand, and aggregates) within a designated outdoor area known as the switchyard. Additionally, certain components are interconnected to a Remote Tap Changer Control (RTCC) panel, which is housed in an indoor control room, using specialized control cables for seamless monitoring and operation.
